Searching for the Voice of Experience
Join the AHIP Foundation’s commitment to the next generation of health care
leaders by becoming a Mentor in one of the our unique professional development
programs—Executive
Leadership Program (ELP), the Executive
Leadership Program for Medical Directors (ELP-MD), and the Minority
Management Development (MMD). These year-long residency programs
are designed to train and inspire by creatively linking academic and hands-on
learning through classroom work, mentoring, and practical experience.
What’s Involved in Becoming a Mentor?
Mentors are
integral to the success of these programs because they impart knowledge, provide
support, and share their unique experience. At the start of the academic year,
Fellows are paired with CEOs, COOs, CMOs, and senior-level vice presidents from
non-competing companies. Mentors participate in conference calls with their
fellow throughout the year and host a one- to three-day site visit at their
organization.
Mentor Benefits
- Reduced registration fee at Institute 2011, the 2012 National Policy Forum,
